Using our new Arm Mount we mounted the Insta360 One X to the DJi Mavic Pro 2 in a couple of different ways :

We used the DJi Mavic Air 2 arm mount and a couple of our Insta360 One X cases :

For reference (and because I accidentally uploaded the video without 360 Metatags 🙂 ) here’s the equirectangular version :

  1. Hi JMC, how about on the DJI Mavic Air? That’s what I asked you about since half a year now. Can you test the new arm mount on the insta360 one X and DJI Mavic Air please?

    1. Hi Ruben,

I posted this on my YouTube channel over a year ago :

      Here’s the 360 video :

I shot some more today that I’ll post on my channel later today.

While we’re at it here’s the Air flying with the Insta 360 EVO as well :

      1. Thanks JMC, I just ordered:
1x DJi Mavic Air Beltmount (for camera or LED light)
1x Insta360 One X Standup Case with GoPro buckle …

        That should do it!

      1. Thanks, I hadn’t seen that video. I see you have 3 Insta360 oneX mounts. Which one of the three should I use to attach to the Mavic Air 1 (DJi Mavic Air Beltmount) and get best stability results connecting it under the drone ?

        1. Selfiemount for Insta360 One X
        2. Insta360 One X With Double GoPro clips
        3. Insta360 One X Standup Case with GoPro buckle …

        Thanks

      2. Hi Ruben,

        Thanks for your patience.

You have 2 ways to connect the Insta360 One X to our Mavic Air 1 Beltmount :

        https://www.shapeways.com/product/ASB4V57SC/dji-mavic-air-beltmount-for-camera-or-led-light

You can choose between our standup case with GoPro buckle :

… or you could attach it to the beltmount using a standard 1/4″ camera shoe :

The problem is that the Mavic Air 1 goes into a pendulum-of-death movement if we use longer hinged solutions.

I’ll finish & post a video later today.
